Pace Verso, the web3 hub of Pace Gallery, and Snark.art’s dynamic NFT platform OG.Art are pleased to present a new project that breaks down boundaries between viewers, collectors, and artists.

This new collaborative and interactive NFT project—titled Life in Our Minds (LIOM) and created by the experimental art collective Random International and digital artist Danil Krivoruchko—incorporates boundary-pushing technology that enables collectors to actively participate in the formal evolution of the NFTs to make them rarer.
Only 150 NFTs available
Created by Random International and Danil Krivoruchko, presented by Pace Verso and Snark.art on OG.Art platform
How it

1
Each LIOM collector receives an NFT that contains a small number of Boids.
2
The longer a LIOM NFT remains in a collector’s wallet, the rarer and more elaborate its formal characteristics become: the number of Boids increases, and their formations and decorative patterns change. In this way, the evolution mechanics of the project offer collectors the opportunity to actively participate in the creation of the artwork as it shapeshifts, incentivizing long-term retention of the NFTs.
3
Some LIOM NFT properties are predefined, including shape, evolution speed, and the maximum number of Boids. Other traits are affected by the contents of a buyer's wallet. LIOM NFTs can also contain randomly distributed qualities such as high evolution speed or higher Boid limits.
5
Each Boid simultaneously exists as a part of its NFT and the Mother Flock virtual sculpture. As more Boids appear and change their visual traits, the sculpture continues to evolve.
6
The Mother Flock’s visual traits are informed by the behavior of its constituent Boids, bringing ideas about the power of both collective and individual action to the fore of the project.
4
LIOM has collaborated with partners including Flamingo DAO, PleasrDAO, Outland, Pace Verso, Moonbirds, PROOF collective and OG:Crystals to offer custom evolutionary traits that are only available to people who hold NFTs associated with these partners. Additional custom evolutionary patterns that holders of other NFT collections can achieve will be announced at og.art/collections/liom.

Works
How to Purchase
LIOM NFTs come in ten different shapes. Among them, are seven simple forms: the circle, star, triangle, trifold, square, diamond, and cross. In rare cases, some LIOM NFTs can evolve over time into one of the three complex shapes – the double circle, double triangle or double square. The form of the NFT that a collector receives is a game of luck, generated entirely at random. However, Pace collectors do have the special opportunity to purchase a set of all seven different simple shaped NFTs. There are only seven of these complete sets available, sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t delay!

LIOM NFTs will be available for purchase on OG.Art on October 25 – however, 150 NFTs have been reserved to pre-purchase immediately! Collectors can pay with a credit card.

FAQ
What is blockchain?
The blockchain is a secure method for digital record-keeping that doesn't require a central authority to verify its data.
Do I need cryptocurrency to buy crypto art?
No, you don't.
So, what am I buying?
You are buying a token—a certificate of ownership on the blockchain. Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are secured by smart contracts, lines of code that dictate the terms of use for those tokens. So, you are buying proof that you own an original piece of art.
Why do I need a crypto wallet?
Your wallet is the place where the NFTs that you've collected will be delivered. The most popular software-based digital wallet is MetaMask—you can learn how to install it on your desktop here.
How can I sell my NFTs?
You can sell NFTs through marketplaces like OpenSea, where you'll need to log in with your crypto wallet. This time, you will need cryptocurrency to pay the transaction commission. In the United States, the easiest way to buy cryptocurrency is through Coinbase, a simple-to-use US dollar to a cryptocurrency exchange for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and several other crypto currencies. Marketplaces like Opensea and Rarible allow purchase of cryptocurrency from their interfaces.
Where can I see my NFT collection?
You can see your LIOM NFTs on the OG.Art website if you log in with your wallet. Metamask has a mobile app that allows for viewing of all the NFTs in your wallet, or you can go to OpenSea and find them in your profile. You can even view your NFTs on your Instagram if you connect Metamask to your account. Finally, you may create your own online gallery with tools like Spatial.
